Prayer for the Soul of Pope Francis- Eternal

Eternal Father, we entrust to You the soul of Your servant, Pope Francis,
who dedicated his life to serving You and guiding Your Church. As the first
Latin American pope and a humble shepherd, he led
with compassion, emphasizing care for the poor and
marginalized. Grant him eternal rest, O Lord, and let
perpetual light shine upon him. May he rejoice in Your
presence, reunited with the saints and all who have
gone before us in faith. Comfort Your Church in this time
of mourning and guide us as we continue the mission he
so faithfully carried out. Through Christ our Lord, AMEN
Prayer for a New Bishop:

Prayer for a New Bishop Almighty and ever living God, grant our Holy Father, Pope Francis, wisdom in discernment as he chooses a new bishop for this local Church. By your divine providence, grant us a shepherd, after the heart of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, whose benevolent care and kindly zeal will strengthen the people of God by the light of the Gospel and the power of the sacraments. Lord, as you now prepare to call our new bishop to the Diocese of Austin, give him courage and generosity to respond with a spirit of joyful hope. Invoking the intercession of our patroness, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, we ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Father in heaven, may the faith you have gifted us in your son Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity kindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us, the blessed hope for the c,oming of our Kingdom. May your grace transform us into diligent cultivators of the evangelical seeds that make humanity and the cosmos rise unto the confident expectation of the new heavens and the new earth, when with the powers of Evil overcome, your glory shall be manifested eternally. May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, the yearning for heavenly treasures and pour over all the earth the joy and peace of our Redeemer. To you God blessed in eternity, be praise and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
